My range of children’s toys are unique, one-off handmade creations. Each toy is made from a base piece of a reclaimed woollen jumper or blanket which I have then felted. Each one is different to the next as each is made from a different woollen item that I have found in a second-hand store. Each has a personality of its own, created by the placement of its facial detail or the use of varying crocheted flowers and buttons or other detail.
This little guy called Barry, belongs to the “Hubert species”. Each new character created belongs to a Species or sub-species type and then is individually identified by its own given name(type).
